Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), the following definitions will apply:

    • “Account”: A User’s personalised and dedicated digital space on the Platform.

    • “Booking”: A confirmed appointment for cleaning services made by a Customer.

    • “Cleaner”: A service provider registered on the Platform who provides cleaning services.

    • “Customer”: An individual using the Platform to book a cleaning service.

    • “Platform”: The online service operated by Cleaner2day, accessible via the App Store or Play Store, enabling the provision of cleaning services.

    • “T&Cs”: These terms and conditions.

    • “User”: A Customer or a Cleaner who uses the Platform.

    • “Cleaner2day”: Cleaner2day Ltd., 85 Macdonald road , London, E17 4AY, United Kingdom.

Unless otherwise required by context, terms expressed in the singular also include the plural, and vice versa.

2. Purpose and Scope of the T&Cs

Cleaner2day operates the Platform, which enables Customers to connect with Cleaners for cleaning services. Cleaner2day acts solely as a facilitator and is not responsible for the actual provision of cleaning services by any Cleaner.

These T&Cs define the terms of access and use of the Platform and set out the rights and obligations of Cleaner2day, Customers, and Cleaners in relation to the use of the Platform.

By creating an Account, the User agrees to these T&Cs. If a User refuses to accept these T&Cs, Cleaner2day will not provide access to the Platform.

3. Registration and Acceptance of the T&Cs

3.1 For Customers

Customers can create an Account via the Website when booking a service. To create an Account, the Customer must provide:

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Home address

    • Payment details

Customers must ensure that all information provided is accurate and up to date. By ticking the box “I accept the terms and conditions”, the Customer confirms their agreement with these T&Cs.

3.2 For Cleaners

Cleaners can register on the Platform by providing:

    • Full name

    • Company registration number (if applicable)

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK

    • Proof of necessary qualifications, licences, and insurance

Cleaner2day may conduct verification checks, including interviews and skills validation. Cleaner2day reserves the right to refuse registration without explanation.

4. Booking and Cancellation Policy

4.1 Booking Process

Customers can book a cleaning service via the App Store or Play Store by selecting the desired service, date, and time. Cleaners will receive booking requests and can choose to accept or decline.

Once a Cleaner confirms a Booking, the Customer receives a confirmation email.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel a Booking under the following conditions:

    • More than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: No cancellation fee.

    • Between 8 and 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: £5 cancellation fee.

    • Between 4 and 8 hours before the scheduled appointment: £10 cancellation fee.

    • Between 2 and 4 hours before the scheduled appointment: 50% of the Booking amount (maximum £20 fee).

    • Less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment or no-show: 80% of the Booking amount (maximum £30 fee).

Cleaners who repeatedly cancel Bookings without valid reason may have their accounts restricted or terminated.

5. Payments and Financial Terms

5.1 Pricing

Prices for cleaning services are set by Cleaner2day and displayed on the Platform. Prices may be adjusted at Cleaner2day’s discretion but will not change after a Booking is confirmed.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. Customers must provide valid payment details when making a Booking.

Cleaners receive payment for completed services on a weekly basis. Cleaner2day deducts a service fee from the total payment made by the Customer.

5.3 Invoicing

Invoices for completed services are available in the Customer’s Account. Cleaners will receive payment details and invoices via email.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

    • Provide accurate and complete information when making a Booking.

    • Ensure that the premises are accessible and safe for the Cleaner.

    • Treat Cleaners with respect and professionalism.

Customers are prohibited from:

    • Requesting Cleaners to provide services outside the Platform.

    • Providing false information or misrepresenting their identity.

6.2 Cleaner Responsibilities

Cleaners must:

    • Provide services professionally and to a high standard.

    • Arrive on time for scheduled Bookings.

    • Maintain valid insurance and any required certifications.

Cleaners are prohibited from:

    • Cancelling multiple Bookings without valid reasons.

    • Contacting Customers outside of the Platform for service arrangements.

    • Engaging in any form of misconduct or unprofessional behaviour.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of the Cleaner’s Account.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cleaner2day is not liable for:

    • Any loss or damage resulting from the provision of cleaning services.

    • Any theft, loss, or damage to personal property during a service.

    • Any disputes between Customers and Cleaners.

    • Temporary disruptions to the Platform due to technical issues.

Cleaner2day’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Account Termination

Cleaner2day reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s Account in the following cases:

    • Repeated cancellations or failure to fulfil Bookings.

    • Providing false information during registration.

    • Engaging in misconduct or breaching these T&Cs.

Users can request account deletion at any time by contacting support@cleaner2day.co.uk.

9. Privacy Policy

Cleaner2day values the privacy of its Users and complies with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR. For details on how personal data is collected and processed, please refer to our Privacy Policy at www.cleaner2day.co.uk/politic-of-privacy.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these T&Cs will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

For complaints or dispute resolution, Users should contact support@cleaner2day.co.uk. Cleaner2day will take reasonable steps to resolve disputes amicably.

11. Amendments to the T&Cs

Cleaner2day reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or a notification on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated T&Cs.
